Turkey Melt with Cheddar, Spinach, and Bacon (Irresistibly Gooey and Crunchy!)

This Turkey Melt is a delicious combination of gooey cheddar, fresh spinach, and crispy bacon sandwiched between toasted bread.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices Turkey breast Use deli-sliced turkey for ease
  • 8 slices Cheddar cheese Sharp cheddar for extra flavor
  • 4 slices Bacon Cooked to crispy
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach Roughly chopped
  • 8 slices Bread Whole grain or your choice
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For bread toasting

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each bread slice.
  • Place turkey, cheese, spinach, and bacon on the unbuttered side of four bread slices.
  • Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
  • Grill sandwiches in skillet until golden and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Notes

For best results, use a panini press or a heavy skillet to press the sandwiches as they cook.
