Turkey Melt with Cheddar, Spinach, and Bacon (Irresistibly Gooey and Crunchy!)

A deliciously gooey turkey melt sandwich layered with cheddar, spinach, crispy bacon, and a hint of dijon mustard. Perfect for a quick lunch!

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices turkey breast deli-style
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon cooked until crispy
  • 1 cup fresh spinach washed and dried
  • 8 slices bread whole grain preferred
  • 2 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  • On the non-buttered side, spread a thin layer of dijon mustard.
  • Layer turkey, cheddar cheese, bacon, and spinach on the mustard side of four bread slices.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
  • Grill sandwich on a skillet over medium heat until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For an even crunchier texture, use a panini press.
