Turkey Melt with Cheddar, Spinach, and Bacon (Irresistibly Gooey and Crunchy!)
This turkey melt is a perfect combination of gooey cheddar cheese, fresh spinach, and crispy bacon sandwiched between perfectly toasted slices of bread.

sourdough bread
thickly cut

cooked turkey
preferably smoked

cheddar cheese
sharp or mild

fresh spinach
washed and dried

bacon
cooked until crispy

tablespoons
butter
softened
Instructions
Preparation Steps
Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
Place turkey slices and cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of half of the bread slices.
Add spinach and bacon on top of the cheese.
Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat and place sandwiches on the skillet.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Serve with a side of pickles for added crunch and flavor.
