Turkey Melt with Cheddar, Spinach, and Bacon (Irresistibly Gooey and Crunchy!)

This turkey melt is a perfect combination of gooey cheddar cheese, fresh spinach, and crispy bacon sandwiched between perfectly toasted slices of bread.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread thickly cut
  • 8 slices cooked turkey preferably smoked
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese sharp or mild
  • 1 cup fresh spinach washed and dried
  • 8 slices bacon cooked until crispy
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place turkey slices and cheddar cheese on the unbuttered side of half of the bread slices.
  • Add spinach and bacon on top of the cheese.
  • Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat and place sandwiches on the skillet.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Notes

Serve with a side of pickles for added crunch and flavor.
