Homemade Whipped Cream

Light, fluffy, and sweet homemade whipped cream made with heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Perfect for desserts or topping.

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Chill a mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for at least 10 minutes before starting.
  • Pour cold heavy cream into the chilled bowl and begin whisking with the chilled whisk until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add sugar and vanilla extract while continuing to whisk.
  • Continue whisking until stiff peaks form. Do not overwhip or the cream will turn into butter.

Notes

This whipped cream is best served immediately but can be refrigerated for up to 2 hours before use.
