  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon pieces until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
  • Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook until edges are golden brown, about 8 minutes.
  • Add butter and garlic to the skillet, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until cheese is melted and sauce is thickened.
  • Return bacon to the skillet and toss to combine. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
