Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, blend together eggnog, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra festive touch, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top of the bread once it has cooled.
