Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together flour and powdered sugar.
Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cherries.
Press the dough into an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
