Preparation Steps

  • Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add beef tips and cook until browned on all sides.
  • Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Slowly add beef broth, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
  • Reduce heat to low and let the gravy simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of red wine to the gravy during cooking.
