Preparation Steps
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
Pour in beef broth and water, then bring to a simmer. Add ramen noodles and cook according to package directions, about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Return cooked beef to the skillet. Stir in the soy sauce mixture and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
If desired, stir in cornstarch slurry and cook for 1 minute until sauce thickens slightly.
Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, add a teaspoon of chili garlic sauce to the soy sauce mixture.
