Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add the chicken strips and cook until browned on all sides.
Pour in chicken broth, lime juice, and season with cumin, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
For the avocado-cilantro sauce, blend avocados, sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt in a food processor until smooth.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet. Spoon chicken mixture onto each tortilla, drizzle with avocado-cilantro sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Notes
For extra zest, consider adding a diced jalapeño to the sauce or topping with additional cilantro and lime wedges.
