Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9 inch baking pan by greasing it lightly.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle all of the cinnamon swirl ingredients over the batter.
Carefully add the remaining batter on top and smooth out with a spatula.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the cake is cooling, whisk together the glaze ingredients. Drizzle over the warm cake.

This cake can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
