Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion to the beef and sauté until translucent.
Mix in cooked rice, tomato sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture and place in a baking dish.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
