Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs 0.68 kg ground turkey
  • 1 cup 0.25 lb stuffing mix (dry)
  • ½ cup 0.12 L chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage or poultry seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup 0.06 lb ketchup (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Stuffing Mixture

  • In a small bowl, combine the stuffing mix and chicken broth. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften.

Step 2: Mix the Meatloaf Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, softened stuffing mixture, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, sage, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Step 3: Shape the Meatloaf

  • Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased or parchment-lined baking dish or loaf pan.

Step 4: Add the Topping

  • If desired, spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for a tangy glaze.

Step 5: Bake the Meatloaf

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 6: Rest and Serve

  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for about 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
