Texas Roadhouse’s Rolls
A delicious homemade version of the popular restaurant rolls.

warm milk
about 110 degrees F

active dry yeast

sugar

melted butter
plus more for brushing

Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let sit until bubbly.
Add sugar, butter, eggs, and salt and mix until combined.
Gradually add flour and knead into a soft dough.
Cover dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down dough and roll out to half-inch thickness. Cut into rolls.
Place on greased baking sheets, cover, and let rise again until doubled.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush hot rolls with melted butter before serving.
Notes
For even softer rolls, allow for longer rise times.
