Tennessee Onions

  • 4 large onions sliced into rings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion rings and sauté until they become translucent.
  • Place sautéed onions in a baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  • Cover onions with cheddar cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
