  • 1 package crescent roll dough store-bought, 8 oz
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk adjust as needed
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush a baking sheet with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Roll each dough triangle into a log, then slice into four mini rolls. Dip each roll in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Place the coated rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • While the rolls bake, whisk powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk in a bowl to make the glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra spicy kick, add a touch of ground nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
