Instructions
Preparation Steps
Blend the peppers and garlic until finely chopped.
Transfer the mixture to a large saucepan and add vinegar, salt, sugar, and water. Stir until well combined.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and cook for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Let the sauce cool slightly, then blend again until smooth.
Strain the sauce to remove any solids, and pour into sterilized jars. Allow to cool before sealing.
Notes
For a milder version, use more sugar and fewer jalapeños. Store in the fridge for up to 3 months.
