Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
In a small blender or food processor, combine strawberries and sugar. Puree until smooth.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Dollop spoonfuls of the strawberry puree over the batter. Swirl gently with a knife or skewer. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top and swirl again.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached (not wet batter).
Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
Notes
For an extra strawberry kick, you can add a few fresh strawberry slices on top before baking.
