Prep : 10 Total : 25 minutes

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 3 cups spinach fresh, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 ounces feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8-count each

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Transfer the spinach and garlic mixture to a bowl. Add crumbled feta cheese and black pepper to the bowl and stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the spinach and feta mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, encasing the filling, and place the rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  • Allow the rolls to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

Try adding sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven for the best texture.
