Preparation Steps
In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Place the pork chops in a large resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over, ensuring each chop is well coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove pork chops from the marinade and let excess drip off.
Cook the pork chops in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
