Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate with almond flour, sugar, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
Roll the mixture into 36 equal-sized balls using about 1 tablespoon of mixture for each.
Place the truffle balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to firm them up.
Optionally, roll the truffles in extra almond flour or cocoa powder for coating before serving.
