Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and bell peppers to the pot. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until softened.
Stir in chili powder and cook for 1 minute to toast spices.
Add black beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat and let chili simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
This chili can be topped with avocado slices and a dollop of sour cream for added richness.
