Smoky Honey Glazed Chicken Bites: A Sweet & Savory Appetizer

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these smoky honey glazed chicken bites are a delightful combination of sweet and savory, perfect for any gathering!

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1.5 lbs bacon thinly sliced
  • 6 oz monterey jack cheese cut into small cubes
  • 6 oz mozzarella cheese cut into small cubes

Honey Glaze

  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and a dash of smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Cut bacon strips in half and lay flat on a clean surface.
  • Place a piece of chicken and a cube of cheese at one end of the bacon strip. Roll the bacon tightly and secure it with a toothpick.
  • In a bowl, mix honey, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and ground cumin to create the glaze.
  • Preheat an oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the honey glaze generously over the top of each bacon-wrapped chicken bite.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the bites, brush with more glaze, and bake for another 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy.

Notes

These bites pair well with a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy warm!
