Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl.
Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
Pour the barbecue sauce over the pork.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
Shred the pork with two forks and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker.
