A super easy and flavorful recipe for tender, shredded BBQ chicken made effortlessly in your slow cooker. Perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or feeding a crowd on buns, in tacos, or over rice.
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart or larger slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is very tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Carefully remove the cooked chicken breasts from the slow cooker and place them on a cutting board or in a large bowl. Using two forks, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir it into the remaining sauce until thoroughly coated.
Serve the slow cooker BBQ pulled chicken warm on hamburger buns, in tortillas for tacos, or over rice. Enjoy!
