A delicious and easy seared cod recipe with lemon-butter sauce.

  • 2 pieces Cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear cod fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  • Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon juice. Pour sauce over cod fillets.
