Preparation Steps
Cut the kielbasa into 1-inch slices. Chop the cabbage and peel and slice the carrots.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the kielbasa slices and cook until browned.
In the slow cooker, layer the cabbage, browned kielbasa, and carrots.
Pour the vegetable broth over the layered ingredients in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours, or until the vegetables are tender.
Once cooked, stir the content gently to mix the flavors before serving.
Notes
For added richness, top the cooked dish with your favorite cheese before serving.
