Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix chicken breasts with garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, and olive oil until well coated.
Add sliced peppers to the bowl and toss to combine, ensuring everything is coated.
Spread the chicken and peppers in a single layer on a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For a twist, try adding crushed red pepper flakes for some heat or using smoked paprika for a deeper flavor. Serve with pasta or a fresh side salad.
