Sauteed Spinach and Mushrooms

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Stir in spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
