Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until softened.
Stir in the broccoli florets and chopped bell peppers. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
Serve hot.
Notes
This dish can be served on its own or with a side of rice or pasta. Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms.
