Runza Casserole

A delicious casserole version of the classic Runza, combining flavorful beef and cabbage in a cheesy crust.

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your preference
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add chopped cabbage to the skillet and cook until softened.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and spread on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Layer beef and cabbage mixture over the dough, then top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
