  • 1 package puff pastry sheets thawed
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 unit egg beaten, for egg wash

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface until they are smooth and even.
  • Brush the pastry with beaten egg wash to help the toppings adhere.
  • Sprinkle the pastry with Parmesan cheese, fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cut the pastry into strips and twist each strip gently several times to form spirals.
  • Place the twisted strips on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store these twists in an airtight container for up to 3 days. They can be reheated in the oven for a fresh-out-of-the-oven taste.
