  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until evenly combined.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy and smooth.
  • Add vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture. Beat until fully combined.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
  • Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared pie dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
  • Cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips. This pie is best served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
