Prep : 10 Total : 25 minutes

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 8 ounce Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Minis, chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and creamy peanut butter, whisking constantly until the sugar dissolves (about 1 minute). Remove from heat and let cool completely to room temperature.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar on medium-high speed for 3-4 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
  • Gradually add the cooled butter-sugar mixture into the cream cheese mixture on low speed, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Minis using a spatula until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately with pretzels, graham crackers, animal crackers, or apple slices. For best texture, let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes if serving chilled.

Notes

This dip can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving to soften slightly for easy scooping. For a richer flavor, try using browned butter instead of regular melted butter!
