Prep : 10 Total : 25 minutes

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz Reese's peanut butter cup Minis or about 1.5 cups chopped

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the brown sugar and peanut butter. Heat for about 1 minute until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely to room temperature before using (this is crucial to avoid melting the chocolate).
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy, about 3-4 minutes using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  • On low speed, gradually add the cooled brown sugar and peanut butter mixture to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
  • Use a spatula to gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and chopped Reese's peanut butter cups until evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. Serve with pretzel sticks, graham cracker sticks, animal crackers, or sliced apples for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving for easier scooping. You can substitute salted butter—no adjustment needed. Avoid reheating as this may cause the chocolate to melt.
