Pumpkin trifle

A delicious and easy pumpkin trifle recipe, perfect for fall gatherings. Layers of spiced pumpkin pudding, whipped cream, and gingersnap cookies create a delightful dessert.

  • 1.5 cups Pumpkin puree
  • 0.75 cups Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 12 pieces Gingersnap cookies

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and ginger.
  • Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Layer cooled pumpkin mixture, whipped cream, and gingersnap cookies in a trifle bowl or individual glasses.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
