Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and ginger.
Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Layer cooled pumpkin mixture, whipped cream, and gingersnap cookies in a trifle bowl or individual glasses.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
