  • 4 pieces Pork Chops
  • 2 medium Apples such as Honeycrisp or Fuji, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned.
  • Add sliced apples to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until softened and slightly caramelized.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of butter to the skillet during the last few minutes of cooking.
