  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  • Stir in sauerkraut, potatoes, caraway seeds, and chicken broth.
  • Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh dill.
