Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Layer half of the lasagna noodles in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
Spread half of the mashed potatoes over the noodles.
Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese over the potatoes.
Repeat layers with remaining noodles, potatoes, and cheese.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream with melted butter and spread evenly on the top layer.
Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until bubbling and golden brown.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Make sure to cook the lasagna noodles just until al dente as they will cook further while baking.
