  • 2 cups mashed potatoes prepared ahead of time
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 large onion chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion in melted butter until translucent.
  • Layer 3 lasagna noodles in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread 1 cup of mashed potatoes evenly over the noodles.
  • Sprinkle 0.5 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  • Repeat layers two more times using the remaining noodles, potatoes, and cheese.
  • Pour the sautéed onions evenly over the top layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
