Preparation Steps
Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
Spread the melted dark chocolate on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Let the chocolate set slightly in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
Melt the white chocolate chips and stir in the peppermint extract.
Spread the white chocolate mixture over the dark chocolate layer.
Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the white chocolate layer while it is still wet.
Allow the bark to set completely before breaking it into pieces.
