  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cup all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
  • Add sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until creamy.
  • Gradually mix in the flour, then fold in the chopped pecans.
  • Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Notes

You can add a dash of cinnamon for extra warmth and flavor.
