Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 3 tablespoons flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Toss gently until the peaches are evenly coated. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
In another bowl, mix together the oats, 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the peach mixture.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the peaches are bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
