Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil potatoes until fork tender, approximately 15 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
Mash potatoes gently, then mix in butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle extra cheese on top before baking.
