Oreo Cupcakes

Delicious Oreo Cupcakes topped with creamy frosting and a mini Oreo cookie.

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 Oreo cookies crushed
  • 0.5 cup whole milk room temperature

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with liners.
  • In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla.
  • Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the creamed mixture. Fold in crushed Oreos.
  • Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before frosting.

Notes

Serve these cupcakes with a dollop of whipped cream and a mini Oreo on top for decoration.
