Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the flour until just combined.

Spread the crust mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.

Pour the topping mixture evenly over the crust.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is set and lightly golden.
