Oatmeal Casserole Recipe

A delicious oatmeal casserole perfect for breakfast or brunch.

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups milk use whole or almond milk
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon ground
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
  • Fold in the walnuts and blueberries.
  • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until the mixture is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a drizzle of honey or a dollop of yogurt if desired.
