Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Cream the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture on low speed.
Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto cookie sheets with spacing.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are slightly golden. Press each with a flat-bottom cup right out of the oven.
Cool cookies on the baking sheets fully.
Melt chocolate chips with oil in a microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
Spread chocolate on top of cooled cookies and let set.
Once chocolate is set, dust cookies generously with powdered sugar.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container. For a thicker texture, press gently during the flattening stage.
