  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cup creamy peanut butter do not use natural
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture on low speed.
  • Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto cookie sheets with spacing.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are slightly golden. Press each with a flat-bottom cup right out of the oven.
  • Cool cookies on the baking sheets fully.
  • Melt chocolate chips with oil in a microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
  • Spread chocolate on top of cooled cookies and let set.
  • Once chocolate is set, dust cookies generously with powdered sugar.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container. For a thicker texture, press gently during the flattening stage.
