A classic monster cookie recipe featuring a mix of peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and M&M's in a soft, chewy cookie that's perfect for any occasion.
Prep : 10 Total : 25 minutes

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup M&M's candy-coated chocolates

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in the oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and M&M's until evenly distributed.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers still look soft. Do not overbake for a chewy texture.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies stay soft and chewy for days when stored in an airtight container.
