  • 2.5 cups dark chocolate chips use good quality for best results
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk divided
  • 2.5 cups mint chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups chopped almonds divided

Preparation Steps

  • Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  • Melt dark chocolate chips with 7 oz of sweetened condensed milk over low heat stirring continuously.
  • Spread the melted dark chocolate evenly in the prepared pan and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • Melt mint chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk over low heat.
  • Add vanilla extract and ½ cup of chopped almonds into the melted mint chocolate and stir well.
  • Pour the mint chocolate mixture over the chilled dark chocolate layer and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle remaining 1 cup chopped almonds on top, pressing them gently to adhere.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Make sure ingredients are gluten-free if needed.
